I am a recent graduate of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) where I majored in Industrial Design. I aim to design meaningful objects and experiences that are accessible and enjoyed by everyone. I believe that great design traces all the way back to thorough research and relentless iteration. This means gathering a wealth of information within and beyond the design field, inviting critique to provoke my thinking, and considering the design process as a cycle rather than a linear process. Some of my other interests include footwear design, creative direction, event and performance coordination.
Born in Sydney, Australia, I was then raised in Shanghai, China - the emerging metropolis of diversity in the eastern world, where I gained a strong understanding and appreciation of various work ethics and practices around the world. I had the incredible opportunity to learn from designers and makers in Tokyo, Japan, and have also worked with Forbes 30 Under 30 designers in New York City.
Outside of design, I am passionate about food and all things food, taiko (Japanese traditional drumming), cycling, skincare and learning about human behaviour and speculative design. I also love a good chat, so feel free to contact me below!
